She is one of our newer additions to the Mountain Ridge family and brings warmth and charm wherever she goes! From her days assisting her husband Fred with carpentry projects (including a deer antler chandelier for Richard Nixon’s dentist!) to inspiring our Tea and Talk activity,

Anne’s life is filled with incredible stories. She’s a community gem with a heart full of kindness and love for her family, friends, and cats!

Our staff brought their fashionably awful side to the ugly Christmas sweater contest! 🎄😂 Our resident fashionista, Eileen, used her expert eye to crown Nurse Jessica (far right) as the winner. 🎉

Our Christmas party was filled with love, generosity, and the true spirit of giving! Each resident received wonderful gifts, including pillows, blankets, pajamas, Bibles, and more, all thanks to the incredible support of many amazing contributors. 🌟

A special thank you to Cypress Creek Church from Florida for joining us, offering a heartfelt prayer, and making the celebration even more meaningful. ❤️

The halls were filled with holiday cheer as Hinds Feet Farm stopped by to carol for our wonderful residents! 🎶🎄 Even Santa couldn’t resist joining in on the fun! Thank you for bringing such joy and festive spirit to our community.

Our staff and residents had a fantastic time spreading holiday cheer at the Black Mountain Christmas Parade this weekend! From singing festive carols to decking out our float in beautiful decorations, the joy was contagious. We loved seeing the smiles as we tossed candy to the adorable children and the wonderful people of Black Mountain.

We had our own Mountain Day Parade to celebrate the festivities of this holiday season. Complete with giant balloons, sweet treats and LOTS OF LOVE 💗

We are so thankful for all the love, support and care from our residents, staff, families and local community.
There's no better time to reach out and remind those around you how much you love them.

One of our very own will be traveling to New York to perform in the 2024 Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade!!!!!
Allison Trout has been with Mountain Ridge for over 2 years as a Hospitality Aide. She is attending ETSU (Go BUCS!) and will be marching with the amazing 🤩 Marching BUCS Color Guard.
This is such a wonderful opportunity and we are SO proud!

This past Saturday at Mountain Ridge was a day to remember! 🛍️🎶 The Rustic Roots sale brought charm and creativity to our community, offering residents and visitors a delightful shopping experience filled with unique treasures. After the sale, the Born Again Bluegrass Gospel Singers took the stage, filling the air with uplifting melodies and heartfelt harmonies. 💙

The combination of shopping, music, and good company made for an exceptional day. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it a success!

We are thrilled to celebrate over two decades of outstanding service at Mountain Ridge Health and Rehabilitation! 🎉 This weekend, we proudly recognize three incredible women who have dedicated their lives to ensuring the care and comfort of our residents.

🌟 Rita (center) has been a vital part of our team for 25 years. Initially joining us as our Social Services Director, she now shines as our Business Office Manager, tirelessly working to meet the needs of our community with unwavering compassion.

🌟 Angela (right), with 21 years of service, began her journey as a QA Nurse. Today, she continues to build meaningful relationships as one of our beloved 500 hall Nurses, always bringing a personal touch to her care.

🌟 Kim (left), known for her vibrant lipstick and nurturing spirit, has brightened our lives for 20 years as a CNA2, Med Aide, and Wound Care Assistant. Her smile always lights up the room.

These remarkable women embody the spirit of PRIDE within our Mountain Ridge community. 💖

�� The Mountain Ridge Staff and Resident Halloween Party was a spooktacular success, especially with our thrilling Monster Hunt! Armed with Nerf guns, our residents bravely saved the facility from “monsters” (our spirited staff in costume!) for an unforgettable day filled with laughter, treats, and excitement.

A huge thank you to our fantastic staff for organizing such a creative, fun event and to everyone who brought their energy and imagination to make the day truly special.

Your dedication and spirit make Mountain Ridge a wonderful place to be. ��

Our Mountain Ridge family showed true resilience in the wake of Hurricane Helene. From staff to residents, everyone pitched in, from Nichole testing her cooking skills to our Director of Nursing, Lori, hauling water buckets through the storm. Our Activities Team kept spirits high with nail sessions and crafts, and our Dietary Team lived on-site for over a week, providing hot meals even without power. We kept life going thanks to the National Guard and local friends who supplied water and fuel.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped keep Mountain Ridge safe and thriving. Leave a message in the comments to our amazing residents and staff who faced these challenges head-on with strength and love. �
