This is a hard one to deal with. Sometimes, as an empathetic person, you want to feel like the person you love would never be that cruel. Understanding is good, but accountability and boundaries will help you to see who they really are. Are they willing to take responsibility and change? Or are they just going to hurt you again?

So many times, this is the case. We do what we wish had been done for us, even when it isn't in our best interest. Find the root cause and deal with it before starting another relationship that doesn't fill any of your needs. Love yourself as much as you try to love others. Good advice.

Two meals...one burnt after an hour at 900°F, the other cooked to perfection after three hours at 300°F.
Same ingredients.
Different results.
It was such a solid reminder:
Growth isn't about rushing. It's about the right pace.
In a world that glorifies speed and hustle, we forget that some of the best things in life.... skills, success, even healing...take time.
So if your journey feels slow right now, don't stress.
You're not falling behind.
You might just be slow-cooking something exceptional.

Here's the strawberry moon. It's hard to capture the color, but it is a little pinkish. My phone is not great, but you get the idea. The street lights were making it hard to see, so I positioned myself behind the truck to block the glare.
