October is National School Lunch Week Oct. 13-17. We have provided some delicious meals that week.

Free and reduced applications can be turned in anytime.
Once we receive the paper, that is the day that either free or reduced meals start.
Paper, it is available at the school or at the district office.

We want to make it easy for parents to go and apply for free or reduced applications or make payments on you stduent(s) account.
These will be at back to school night so you can download it on your phone.

Here are the August and September menus.

The prices for breakfast and lunch are:

Breakfast:
Elementary-6th grade $2.35
Secondary $2.50
Reduced $.30
Adults $3.00

Lunch:
Elementary-6th grade $3.20
Secondary $3.35
Reduced $.40
Adults $5.10

Free and reduced applications will be available tomorrow August 5. A new application has yo be filled out every year.

Once the kitchen staff or child nutrition staff receive your application, that is the day that either free or reduced meals start.

Thursday, July 31 is the last day for the Summer Lunch Program at our District 55 schools. Beginning Monday, August 4th there will be free sack lunches available to children ages 1-18 at the Jason Lee Methodist Church 168 N University Ave from 11:30-12:30 Mon-Friday. Thanks to all who make these lunches available throughout the summer months while school is out!

We will not be serving lunch July 2-7 due to Independence Day Holiday. We will be back July 8th.

**NOTE You can take your child to any of these 4 locations, you do not have to live in the school boundaries. Children of any age 1-18 can eat at the 6th grade school they don't have to be a sixth grader - the same goes for all of the schools!

Children need to make sure that their meals are eaten at the school. No food Is to be taken out of the cafeteria. Parents that do purchase a meal, may take their food out of the cafeteria.

It’s “Take a Friend” day for Summer Lunch at our 4 locations: BHSG, Groveland, DD Stalker, and Riverbend! Popcorn chicken and Mac & Cheese - lunch is from 11-12 at all 4 locations, free to children ages 1-18.
