Mexico definitely humbled me 😅🌿
I ended up getting E. coli while traveling and the recovery process has reminded me just how important it is to slow down and truly support the body instead of fighting against it.
Over the last couple weeks I’ve been focusing deeply on nourishment, rest, and gentle healing practices:
• probiotic-rich foods + supplements
• simple grounding meals
• hydration + minerals
• food as medicine
• ionic foot detoxes
• nervous system regulation
• giving my body actual time to heal
Healing hasn’t looked glamorous. It’s looked like listening to my body, simplifying, and rebuilding my gut health one day at a time.
As someone who works in holistic wellness, moments like this are also humbling reminders that health is never about perfection. It’s about learning how to support yourself with compassion when your body asks for help.
The body wants to heal when we create the right environment for it 🤍
