Welcome to a new "Get to Know Us" series! Over the coming weeks we are going to introduce you to all of our amazing staff! First up we have Nikole Mihill, a Family Nurse Practitioner, to tell us a little bit about herself!

Hi! I’m Nikole — a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of diverse medical experience and a deep passion for helping people feel their best through root-cause, functional medicine!

My healthcare journey began in 2008 as a Nurse working in wound care, later evolving into over a decade in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — caring for some of the most fragile patients and families. After earning my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Old Dominion University, I felt called to take a more holistic path — one that looked beyond symptoms and lab numbers.

That shift came from my own story. I’ve lived with Hashimoto’s, POTS, and hormone imbalances — and spent many years searching for answers within traditional medicine. Finally being diagnosed with POTS after twenty years of symptoms changed everything. It taught me the power of listening, investigating, and treating the whole person.

Now, I specialize in:
Gut health, Hormone balance, Weight loss, and overall wellness. My goal is simple — to help you uncover the why behind your symptoms and guide you toward sustainable, science-based healing that restores your energy, balance, and confidence.

Outside the clinic, I’m a military wife of 16 years, a hockey-playing boy mom of two, and happiest when I’m outdoors hiking or spending time with my family and friends!
