Did you know Dr. Colliver is the local expert in musculoskeletal ultrasound? He has taught courses on ultrasound at the national level. He helped found the ultrasound task force for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Ultrasound is a great tool for diagnosing soft tissue injuries and has benefits above MRI--it is cheaper and it is as or more sensitive than MRI. Ultrasound has the advantage of capturing a dynamic image whereas MRI is a static image.
