Mr. Scurry returns home!💙
Mr. Scurry heads home feeling empowered after a breakthrough therapy session that proved positive results. Mr. Scurry came into Harborview Pierce with no doubts and all expectations that made effective results. He said he was equipped to tackle whatever comes next, and he did just that. Best wishes and CONGRATULATIONS on returning home Mr. Scurry!

"Let's spread the love, nothing like a hug!"
Harborview - Pierce got a visit from one of our local schools. We received donations of lotion, ChapStick and handmade cards. Not to mention the hugs this young lady shared with one our residents Ms. Winn. Love grows when it's given. Shown here we have Emily from Ms. Fandrich's class at Blackshear Elementary. Therapists often report that the most rewarding moments come from witnessing their client's growth and progress, as seen in their smiles. Ms. Deloach is on her way home! We must learn to surround ourselves with people who challenge us to be our best self. Growth happens outside our comfort zone. Congratulations to you Ms. Deloach on your return home! Harborview - Pierce held a celebration in honor of the veterans. We saluted our residents that are veteran's: Mr. Lester Brauda, Mr. Lamuel Sellers, Mr. Douglas Black, Mr. Lynn Guyer, Mr. Timothy Davis, and Mr. Jesse Mobley. We also recognized two of our Veteran Employee's. Mr. Carl Taylor, Director of Physical Plant Services and Ms. Teresa Geary, Senior Cook. Pierce County, County Manager, Retired 1st Sergeant Raphel Maddox came to pay tribute for this special occasion. Mr. Maddox served 20 years in the United States Army. These soldiers served and sacrificed for our freedom. Their courage, strength, and dedication will never be forgotten.

Harborview - Pierce Autumn Festival🙏💙
It was a day full of fun, and we had such a HUGE turnout! The taste of buttered popcorn, lemonade, funnel cakes and chili cheese fries left warm memories of this event. The residents enjoyed face painting, tattoos and so much more! The icing on the cake was BINGO with DJ Stinson! Excitement filled the room as he called the numbers, played the music and people danced at the sound of winning number for bingo. Thank you again to everyone who joined us to help make this event such a success! Harborview - Pierce Staff you are TOP NOTCH!!! The residents really enjoyed this moment!

Roomies that became buddies💙

A picture together is what they asked for, and that's what they got! Nothing beats love like sisterly love. They encouraged, motivated and ate together every day. Ms. Hendrix and Ms. Clark became best buds during their stay at Harborview-Pierce. They also finished therapy together! Their words reminded us what the Best Buddies mission is all about - love, belonging and the power of connection.
