By day two of class, our students are already getting hands-on training!
This is an important aspect of our program.
We front-load a lot of our hands-on training for a few reasons:
1. We want students to be able to make an important decision early on...
"Do I like this?"
"Can I see myself in this industry?"
We don't want our students to be weeks/months into textbook materials before they are engaging in massage techniques and realize they don't like it
2. Get the basics down first
By week 3, our students understand how to give a basic Swedish massage, including uninterrupted flow and timing. This is the foundation of all they will continue to learn. From here, they will build the skills of deep tissue, sports, + hot stone modalities.
3. Build confidence & expertise
Our students have the entire length of their program to improve. They enter the massage field with hundreds of hours of practice and countless client reviews.
