Our team in Lancaster recently had the privilege of honoring what mattered most to Nadine, one of our hospice patients and a former professional Broadway ballerina. After being bedbound for months, she shared one last wish: to see a live dance performance again.

With the support of her loved ones, our team worked quickly to make it possible. A local dance studio welcomed her with open arms, and our staff arranged safe transportation and accompanied her to the Saturday afternoon performance.

From the moment she arrived, the joy on her face said everything. Staff at her care center gathered to see her off, talking about how radiant she looked and how meaningful this moment was for her. Watching her experience the music, movement and beauty she dedicated her life to was unforgettable.

This is why we do what we do: to bring comfort, dignity and meaning to every day, and to help our patients experience the moments that matter most 💚🩰

Their Bereavement Support Group will provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals experiencing grief to connect, share, and find healing.
