Dr. Taylor had an excellent weekend gaining more knowledge at the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association’s Spring Convention held in Short Pump. Dr. Taylor and the UVCA Board covered a lot of topics to help chiropractic in the commonwealth and even had stop by to address all attendees at the convention.

Big news happening with Chiropractic in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is a reason to join the UVCA because the state association fights for your right to practice Chiropractic the way you as doctors want to practice. We are waiting for the Governor to sign off on these bills, but they have passed in both the General Assembly and the State Senate. We as chiropractors can now in full confidence give advice on nutrition and vitamins to help our patients with their overall health & wellness.

Even though there is a widespread and prolonged power outage in Blackstone, East Coast Elite Chiropractic will attempt to be open at 8 AM tomorrow. WE WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW AT 8 AM. All patients please be advised that in the case our phones are not working to please call 804-839-0041 and we will attempt to answer that phone tomorrow.

The office will be closed February 10th, 12th, & 13th due to Dr. Taylor being on vacation. The office will be open on Tuesday February 11th to accommodate those patients who are doing invisaRed and laser therapy.

Dr. Taylor is honored to be one of the members and team doctors in the Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society!

🌟 Exciting News from PBCS! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Rick Bishop, Dr. Alan Palmer, and Dr. Sonny Haight have been exclusively invited to speak at the prestigious Baseball Winter Meetings in Dallas! 🏟️⚾

This annual event gathers representatives from all 30 Major League Baseball teams and their 120 Minor League affiliates to discuss league business and make off-season moves. It's a hub of sports professionals, including Athletic Trainers, Strength Coaches, Dieticians, Physical Therapists, and Physicians.

👏 As the ONLY chiropractors invited, our very own Dr. Rick, Dr. Alan, and Dr. Sonny will be presenting to the Minor League Medical Coordinators about the significant impact of the PBCS in integrating chiropractic care within Minor League teams.

🎤 Additionally, Dr. Rick Bishop will make history as the first chiropractor to sit on a panel at the MLB Medical Committee Meeting. This is a monumental step forward for chiropractic recognition in professional sports!

Blackstone: Monday and Tuesday 8 AM - 5 PM
Powhatan: Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM

With the devastating toll that Hurricane Helene has brought to the areas such as Western North Carolina and Damascus, Virginia, we will be collecting non-perishable items to help the people of those areas recover through an initiative with the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association. We will be collecting these items at both of our locations, Powhatan & Blackstone, with the hopes of taking them down in the coming weeks to those affected. Examples of non-perishable items include: canned goods, toothbrushes/toothpaste and hygiene goods, toys for children who also need to recover.

Please think about giving to help these people in their time of need.

Schedule Change for next week!

Dr. Taylor will be on vacation so Dr. Austin will be manning the offices in his usual days. Monday and Tuesday, Dr. Austin will be in Powhatan.
Wednesday and Thursday, Dr. Austin will be in Blackstone.

The offices will be opened on a regular schedule starting back September 16th!

Important Announcement: This coming week on Monday and Tuesday (June 3rd & 4th), Dr. Austin will be out of the Powhatan office, but he will be back in the Blackstone Office on Wednesday and Thursday (June 5th & 6th)! The Powhatan office will be open for scheduling and InvisaRED treatments, but not for chiropractic. The Powhatan office will reopen for adjusting hours on Wednesday with Dr. Taylor.
