Our Story
We're more than a summer camp. We're a vacation home. We're a social club. We are a place. We are a people. We're a chance to unwind. We're a chance to take risks. We're a breath of fresh air. We're an opportunity to build independence and to build character. We're a safe place. We're a creative space. We are a place where people with developmental disabilities can be themselves, can find themselves.
We offer six camp sessions, each 5 days/4 nights long for campers ages 12+ with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Campers stay in one of our four dorms with 1-2 roommates. The fun includes: arts and crafts, sports, bowling, a campfire, a dance, a talent show, off-site excursions (Adventure Camp) and more!
Camper to counselor ratios range from 1:1 to 5:1. Onsite nursing staff dispense medications, perform first aid, and assist with other medical needs.
Camperships are often available for those in need of tuition assistance. We believe all applicants should be able to attend camp regardless of their financial situation.
