There was a time when I felt like I was constantly “on.”

Taking care of everything. Thinking about everything. Holding everything together.
From the outside, I looked fine. Inside, I was overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted.

What changed wasn’t my schedule overnight — it was learning how to:

• stop over-functioning
• actually listen to what I needed

That doesn’t mean you’re handling it well. It means you’ve gotten used to carrying too much.
