Prior to attending Unbridled Acres my daughter had been seeing a traditional therapist for over a year and was still experiencing anxiety that was holding her back from fully engaging in life. From the moment she started working with Sue and the horses I saw a change in her. Their calm, intuitive presence gave her a sense of peace and strength.
Over time she began to believe in herself again and discovered she was capable of doing hard things.
Her confidence grew in ways I never imagined possible. I’m so grateful for the supportive environment and the incredible impact this therapy has had on her life. Unbridled Acres has truly been a place of healing and growth for my daughter and our entire family.

We hosted a great group of kids from Apogee Omaha.. a day of challenges with the horses, summer fun playing manure baseball, hiking and picking mulberries.
These are the simple things in life…kids and adults loved it.

One of the reasons that equine therapy is so powerful is that the Horses mirror who we are. These eyes speak volumes. They see us for who we are, how we act, and how we present our spirit to the world.

Horses “get it”… they stay close to their herd and protect each other from danger. They have boundaries with each other and know how to stand up for themselves without crossing the line.

We were honored to host an amazing team from the Guiding Grace Motherhood program, whose passion for crisis pregnancy and desire to give those in pain a hand up, not a handout, is so spot on!!! A team of 7 has helped over 300 families thrive.

We lost our smallest 4 legged therapist yesterday…Maggie💜 she gave ALL she had ALL the time.

Today marks 15 YEARS of serving our community with the amazing therapeutic power of the horse.
I am blown away when I think of the hundreds of children and families that have “come to the barn”… those willing to trust their instincts and try something so different and so unique and walked away with their lives changed forever.

We are humbled by this trust and beyond blessed because of this trust.
