The people I get the pleasure of taking care of and the families I get to know make this job so much easier. While end of life / hospice care will always be one of the hardest jobs mentally to have , there is a sense of peace to know I’ve made it slightly better for the patient and hopefully I helped to take a little off the families shoulders. I always make myself available around the clock but hospice cases there’s no calling out no matter the weather or what’s happening. Spent the majority of the night with a family preparing for there love one to cross the heavenly bridge and as sad as it was there was so much love present . Sometimes all we can do is remember the good times , and know everything that could be done has been .love your love one’s a little longer as tomorrow is never promised.

A lot of times elderly people get depressed just because they have nothing to look forward to. Adding a fish tank and bird feeders outside the bedroom window are two of my personal touches . It’s so much more then bed baths and diaper changes.

Roads were clear this morning on way to work

Starting Monday I have what I call putting them together for the day and putting to bed at night hrs available for the Stillwater area . I am available 730 to 9 30 in the am Monday through Friday and 8 pm to 430 am 7 days a week
These will be filler / fill in hr prices are if not full time hrs
