Dr. William Wrightson joined Union General Health System medical staff in April 2024. Dr. Wrightson is board-certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, bringing 20 years of specialized experience in general, thoracic and foregut surgery. Since joining our team, Dr. Wrightson has been General Surgical care for the community.

We are now excited to announce that Union General Hospital is advancing the level of care they provide with the addition of thoracic surgery. Dr. Wrightson recently conducted Union General Hospital’s first thoracic surgical case, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to offering comprehensive, high-quality surgical care.
