Day 1 San Jose - @ Gran de Oro hotel. Gorgeous! I want to spend a week there and not leave the hotel.

The courtyard garden in the room was amazing. And it was very affordable.

We did a fun thing today! We went to to meet all the rescued donkeys!

We got quite the education and we're able to do a hike with Dobby and Toby!

Aimee and Lorraine gave us such and education and of course we compared Rescue notes.

Highly recommend this as a nice way to support them and a great idea for an afternoon or somewhere to take visiting friends!

We had 70 trick or treaters and had a bunch of fun!

🐾 Emergency Puppy Rescue — We Need Your Help! 🐾

These six tiny lives were found in a heartbreaking situation — left in a box on the side of the road. Thankfully, a kind-hearted police officer spotted them and took them home. His wife, a vet tech at Noah, sprang into action and got them the help they desperately needed. 👮‍♂️💖🐶

These puppies are only about 4 weeks old and all tested positive for parvo — a deadly virus for babies this young. It’s a tough battle, but we’re not giving up on them. Castoff Pet Rescue was called in, and we didn’t hesitate to say yes to giving them a fighting chance.

They are now receiving:

✨ Subcutaneous fluids

✨ Antibiotics

✨ Special feedings

✨ Around-the-clock care

This kind of treatment is life-saving, but it’s also very expensive — and as a nonprofit, we receive no state or local funding. We rely entirely on our community — on you — to help us save these precious lives.
