NAMI Georgia is hosting a FREE Connection Support Group Train the Teacher virtual training! Learn how to facilitate confidential, peer-led support groups where adults can share experiences, find understanding, and support one another in recovery.

Dates: April 25–26, 2026
Time: 9 AM – 5 PM
Application Deadline: April 11

This training is open to adults 18+ with lived experience of a mental health condition who want to lead NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups in their community.

Do you have lived experience with a mental health condition and want to help others on their recovery journey?

Join NAMI Georgia for our FREE Peer-to-Peer Train the Teacher virtual training! This training prepares participants to become certified NAMI Peer-to-Peer Leaders, facilitating an eight-session educational program that helps adults better understand their mental health, recovery, and build peer support.

Dates: May 16–17, 2026
Time: 9 AM – 5 PM
Application Deadline: May 1

Participants must have lived experience with a mental health condition and commit to leading a class within 3 months of training.
