Sunflowers, goats, and good vibes only! 🌻🐐✨

We had the BEST morning at White Oak Pastures making flower crowns, soaking up goat snuggles during yoga, taking a scenic walking farm tour, and wrapping it all up with the most delicious farm-to-table salad. 🐐🥗✨

Three generations of strong women, sweet couples, solo adventurers, and forever friends — all coming together in nature for sunshine, laughter, and a little wildflower magic. 💛

What a great way to start the day...with a little White Oak Pastures magic!

I'm still here. Waiting for this surgery to come and go.

I want to encourage you to break out your mat, a prop or just simply mindfully move your body with your breath.

You know what to do. You know how to listen to your body. Take time for you...even a couple of minutes.

I'm currently using the egg frequently to open my chest ( helping anxiety w upcoming procedure), releasing my neck tension and lengthening my spine. I also elevate my hips for legs up the wall and release my legs to stretch front of hip socket. You can do something similiar w block, bolster or rolled blanket.

Again, you know what to do. Tap into it.

Twisting poses in yoga involve rotating the torso and spine. They can be gentle or vigorous, and can help with digestion, flexibility, and stress relief.

Benefits
●Digestion: Twists can help move food through the digestive system.
●Flexibility: Twists can improve the range of motion in the spine.
●Stress relief: Twists can help ease stress and anxiety by stimulating the gut and releasing serotonin.
●Energy: Twists can increase circulation and energy flow throughout the body.
●Spinal health: Twists can help maintain a healthy spine by stretching and strengthening the muscles.

How to twist

1. Focus on twisting from the upper back, chest, and thoracic spine.
2. Start by lengthening the lower back.
3. Use the core muscles, especially the obliques, to rotate the spine.
4. Try to lift the spine up and spiral upwards as you twist.
5. BREATHE.
