We were notified on Tuesday morning that Lois Gifford had died. Lois has been an icon of Blanchardville, known by many for her music, baking, and love of being in the community at events.

Please keep her children, Kathy, Ron and Carol and all her many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

We are honored to help the family honor Lois' life through her visitation on Sunday at Blanchard Hall and funeral Monday at York Memorial Lutheran Church.

Such an asset to have available to our communities. Have been able to easily rent for on-site and off-site services. An added bonus is that the proceeds go back to a group that supports our communities.

With the weather warming up, it’s time for graduation parties, reunions, and other fun activities! We have tables, folding chairs, and a few options for tents for rent for those in near Hollandale! ☀️

Carole's family and some friends came together to celebrate her life and share some stories at her visitation today. It was a great gathering where we welcomed many of her family from out of town.

Carmen Danz had the honor of attending the 5th Annual WFDA Professional Women’s Conference for the first time!

This conference provides an opportunity to network with, celebrate, and reconnect with fellow women in funeral service across the state of Wisconsin.

This year the conference took place in Sturgeon Bay, WI. It was inspiring and motivating to be around so many influential and passionate women!

Roland Deininger lived a great life growing up in France and coming to the United States to cook for thousands of people. We were sad to hear on Friday of his death at age 85, but honored to help his family and friends celebrate his DELICIOUS life!

Please keep Roland's wife Ursula and his son Rene (Sandy) and all his friends in your thoughts and prayers.

His life will be celebrated at Blanchard Hall on Saturday, May 16th.

Our family announces with heavy and hurting hearts, that our nephew and cousin, Alex Ewell, son of Heidi (Saether) Ewell, died on April 15th at the age of 28 after a year-long battle with cancer.

Alex was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for his laughter and joy that he brought to the world.

Please keep in your prayers his parents; Heidi and Mike, siblings; Zach and Grace, and the rest of his family and friends as they try to accept this new life without Alex.

Jeff Saether and Carmen Danz had the privilege of speaking to a high school class about funeral directing. They even finished their presentation by teaching everyone how to tie a tie. Thank you for letting us come to educate, Pecatonica High School!

A wonderful visitation and service was held on Saturday, April 18th at the York Memorial Lutheran Church in rural Blanchardville to honor the life of Midge Swenson and support her family.

Two hours of a line of people and around 130 people attended the funeral.

A memorial video tribute is attached that we made to honor Midge's life with photos the family provided.

We thank the family for the honor of serving them.
