This Memorial Day, Blue Mountain Hospital honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces. Thank you for protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As a reminder, Blue Mountain Hospital’s Administration and Business Offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Regular business hours will resume the following business day. Our hospital and emergency services will remain available for patient care needs.

🤝✨ Better Together! ✨🤝

Leaders and managers from Blue Mountain Hospital and Utah Navajo Health System, Inc. recently came together for an inspiring day of leadership training focused on communication, teamwork, and building a strong organizational culture.

During the training, Jeremy Lyman, Sulane Knight, and Cari Spillman shared their personal “User Manuals” — unique guides designed to help employees better understand their leadership styles, communication preferences, and how to work together more effectively.

The day also featured a fun and engaging team-building challenge where teams completed tasks to decode a special phrase: “Better Together.” 👏

🏆 Team Challenge Winners:
🥇 1st Place — Team Aqua
🥈 2nd Place — Team Green
🥉 3rd Place — Team Yellow

To wrap up the training, Travis Black shared valuable insights on how the same principles used to coach a successful high school basketball team can translate into business leadership, especially in creating a positive culture, building trust, and working toward a common goal.

Please join us in celebrating Shannah Williams Tso on earning her Registered Nurse (RN) degree!

Shannah’s journey is a wonderful example of dedication, perseverance, and a passion for patient care. After graduating from Utah State University with her surgical technology license, she joined Blue Mountain Hospital’s Operating Room team. Over the past five years, she has continued to grow professionally while serving our patients with skill and compassion.

Now, Shannah has reached an exciting new milestone by becoming an RN—and she’s not stopping there. This fall, she plans to continue her education as she works toward earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

We are incredibly proud of Shannah and all she has accomplished. Her commitment to learning and her dedication to exceptional patient care make her an invaluable part of the Blue Mountain Hospital team.
