Stacie Gardner holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University and recently earned her Community Health Worker Certificate. She will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources. A proud mother of two special needs children, Stacie is also engaged and blessed with two additional children through her fiancé. She was raised in Blanding, Utah, and is the daughter of Bruce and Patty Arthur.

Passionate about community service, Stacie enjoys the outdoors and dedicates much of her time to promoting unity and youth empowerment. She currently serves as the Blanding Coalition Workgroup Leader, where she helps organize community events focused on prevention and togetherness. She is also an active member of the San Juan Prevention Action Collaboration Coalition (SJPAC), a county-wide initiative that brings together representatives from various workgroups, businesses, and organizations to strengthen and support local communities. Her primary focus is on youth, helping them recognize their potential and believe in their ability to achieve great things.

Stacie began her career at Blue Mountain Hospital one year ago as a night and weekend front desk specialist in the business office. Within weeks, she was promoted to Financial Patient Coordinator and now was promoted as the hospital’s Human Resources Generalist.

She deeply values the people of her community and considers Blanding her true home. She loves the area’s natural beauty, the abundance of outdoor opportunities, and the strong sense of unity that brings the community together in support of one another.

Kim has decided to ride off into the sunset and retire. We are grateful for her time at Blue Mountain Hospital. Here are some of Kim’s highlights in her career. She received an MBA from Western Governors University with an emphasis in strategy and leadership. She got her Bachelor’s from USU in Business.

She and Clayton have been married for 39 years. She has two kids and six grandkids. The oldest is 12 and the youngest is 1.5 years old. Her family is everything!

She loves anything outdoors! Hiking, camping, horses, ranching, hanging out at our cabin in Verdure. Reading, drawing, puzzles, games —- etc. Being busy!
She was at USU for 15 years, working in the CTE department. Working with local businesses and secondary education in the district. She then worked with the City for 10 years as the Finance Director. She ended her career with Blue Mountain Hospital for over 2 years.

She loves San Juan County! She loves being in the hills, canyons, and mountains! Where else can you get such a variety of adventures! Mountains in the Summer and canyons in the winter! History in the area makes the adventures fun too! She is looking forward to spending even more time wandering or riding through these hills, canyons, and mountains!

Cari's healthcare journey began in 2007 as a certified Advanced EMT. After several years on the ambulance, she joined the team at Blue Mountain in the ER in its early stages and has been a driving force for its growth ever since. Now, as the Chief Quality Officer, she's passionate about the vision to make Blue Mountain Hospital the standard for rural healthcare. She loves that Blue Mountain is a family and cherishes the relationships with her coworkers, all while continually working to improve care for the community she loves.

Her dedication is supported by her board certification in Infection Control (CIC), earned in 2019, and a Master's of Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University in 2022. She was also recognized for her work in data analytics with Redi Health, which not only brought significant financial gains to the hospital but also earned her the Primary Care and Rural Health Impact Award in 2025.

Outside of work, she resides in Blanding with her wife. They have seven children, including one who is a senior this year, and they cherish every moment with their three beautiful grandchildren.
