My word(s) for the year: REIGN & REINS

REIGN
To stand rooted in your own sovereignty.
To rule your life, land, body, and boundaries with presence instead of force.
To take the moss-covered throne that’s been waiting for you all along.

REINS
Not control. Direction.
The steady hands that guide momentum without choking it.
The choice to lead your energy, your nervous system, your time.

This is the year of no longer surviving your own power.
No more shrinking to keep the peace.
No more over-explaining why you chose yourself.

The Wood Snake taught discernment.
What to shed. What to leave behind without ceremony.
Now The Year of The Fire Horse now asks: Where are you going?
And are you willing to hold the reins when the pace quickens?

At The Rusktic Soul, this is the work I hold space for:
🌿 Reigning in your body through massage and reflexology
🌿 Gathering your reins through AromaTouch and sound baths
🌿 Stepping fully into sovereignty through nature-based retreats

No fixing. No bypassing.

I’ve been hearing a lot of “this time of year is so stressful…”
And I get it. Truly.
But I also think so much of that stress is something we quietly place on ourselves.

When we’re chasing perfection…
When we’re trying to meet every expectation…
When we’re doing everything we think we “should”…
We miss the soft magic that’s right in front of us.

What if this year, we loosen our grip a little?
What if we choose presence over pressure…
Simplicity over chaos…
Joy over “just getting through it”…

Because the truth is—
We are the makers of our own pace.
We get to decide what we carry.

It gets to be soft.
It gets to be peaceful.
It even gets to be fun. (Crazy thought🤪)
It can get a little wild too—if we let it. 🌲✨

Let yourself enjoy the season.
Let it be enough.
Let joy meet you where you are.
