How is dry needling different from acupuncture, and why is it controversial?

While many medical professionals have anatomical knowledge, skill and experience matter. Would you prefer a brand-new surgeon or an experienced one? Similarly, the training and expertise behind dry needling and acupuncture differ significantly. Dry needling is legal in most states, but I’m simply presenting the facts.
