Meet Sarah: I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that are personalized for each person’s individual needs. I work with children of all ages, both male and female as well as adults. When working with me, my clients will encounter a non-judgmental and caring environment that promotes growth and empowerment. I use an individualized approach to meet clients’ specific needs, incorporating research-based strategies that draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. With this approach, I aim to create a comfortable and safe environment where you can explore your unique experiences, thoughts, and feelings without judgment.


Though to some the holiday season means twinkly lights, feasts, football, presents and more, to others this brings on feelings of dread as a series of family functions draws near. Let’s begin by remembering that the holidays can be tough for many people for many reasons and that that is entirely normal. So, whether you are close with your family and just want to be the peace keeper or if you need a little extra help to get through the holidays with family, here are a few suggestions of way to try to make that process a bit smoother.

Meet Artemis: It is my passion to empower children (10+), adolescents and adults in not only finding or regaining necessary tools to overcome obstacles and function independently again but develop their own path to personal growth and healing. I work with parents to provide tools to help ease communication barriers and strengthen parent-child/teen relationships. As a clinician I value the importance of inner strength, determination and resilience and strive to promote these in all my clients.

I incorporate research-based modalities that range from Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Individuals and their problems are unique and varied. I tailor the approach I use based on each client’s needs. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is collaborative and should promote self-discovery and healing in a safe, non-judgmental and empathic environment.


Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Joseph Montgomery and Deirdre Denholm provide evaluation and treatment of mental health conditions in a holistic and person-centered model, and prescribes and monitors psychotropic medications, if appropriate, for patients 16 years old and older.

Deirdre sees children (ages 6 years old and up), teens and adults, Deirdre works particularly well with clients who are looking to find a better balance at home, school, work, and life.

Additionally, Joseph administers and interprets GeneSight, a non-invasive pharmacogenomic test that analyzes how your genes may affect effectiveness of the prescribed medication. Since everyone’s DNA is unique, GeneSight is a valuable tool for clinicians to predict how YOU react to medication for anxiety, depression, ADHD and other psychiatric conditions.
