Arrrr! Shiver Me Timbers! The Ship Has Arrived!
We were given the opportunity to enjoy an ambulance that was transformed into a Priate Ship!
We climed up the "P**p Deck" and were greated with a "Yo-Ho-Ho!" by the ships "Cap'n". The crew had worked hard with all the "Loot" they were carring; books and maps with treasure X's on them! Before long we were being called "Landlubbers" and asked to walk the "Gangplank" but not before we were able to grab some "B***y and Pieces O'eight! ARRRRRR !

GO CEDARBROOK!! It's Team Appriciation Day!
The dining room was transformed by our culinary department into Hogwarts from Harry Potter! The food was delicious and the decorations were spotacular! In attendance were, "Pure blood" and "Half blood" Wizards, one was a "Metamorphmagus" and changed into a giant pumpkin. There were plenty of "Sorting Hats" that gave out special treats to the lucky names that were drawn. In the end, everyone "Disapparated".

Outing to the OPC, Older Persons Commission, in Rochester.
We enjoyed a delicious meal before watching the performing arts live presentation of Dames At Sea! The OPC did an amazing job!! We also had an extra surprise when one of our very own residents was able to see a wall mural, she along with others, had painted some years back. The smile and joy gleamed from her face as she learned that the OPC had created a book about the mural.

TRICK OR TREAT, SMELL MY FEET GIVE ME SOMTHING GOOD TO EAT! There were a lot of "Boo-tiful" Memories made and recalled as we Trick Or Treated throughout the building. There was a Witch, stirring her green glowing cauldron as she handed out a "Potion" mix of hot cocoa. Wonder Woman had chips of all kinds, Hogwarts handed out candy, that I am sure will produce some magical humorous effects when eaten. The was a billiards "Shark" in the Aviator Pub with Crackerjacks and cookies (poker chips). Ricky B***y & Cal Naughton were signing autographs and handing out candy to all!
We had a great time, remembering the days of Trick Or Treating and we're sure we saw Puff, the Magic Dragon somewhere along the way too.

Belle Isle a scenic island for everyone! Crossing the bridge was beautiful along with the views of the Detroit River. We stoped by the Nature Center and encountered a few reptiles, birds and bees. Next was The Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, the exotic plants are just georgious! The glass-dome and lush tropical oasis of plants from around the world, a sight to remember.
Our final adventure for the day was lunch at Sinbads! Delicious food and a delightful staff accommodated us to the fullest.
The weather was a little chilly, but we still enjoyed every moment of the day.

The ROARING TWENTIES! An era known for jazz, art deco and bold style transformations. Shorter skirts, bobbed hair, feathers, fringe, pearls, and dapper suits. Our fashion show was the "bees' knees"! We enjoyed some "giggle water" from the "speakeasy" while the fashion models and history were presented by Victoria and crew from the Fashion & The Automobile-An Exhibit in 10 Eras.
