It was great to meet up with so many others in Lansing this week fighting for car crash survivor’s right to recover and lead a full and independent life.

Some of Inspire Home Care‘s leadership team traveled to Lansing on Wednesday to fight for car crash survivors right to recover. It was a beautiful day and over 100 people attended the rally to tell lawmakers to fix the cuts to catastrophically injured car crash survivor’s benefits that were part of the no-fault reform over four years ago. Those cuts have resulted in the loss of care for so many that need care to recover and thrive. Please visit the following websites and look up who your State Representative and State Senator are and send them a short email telling them to finally fix the cuts to home care and rehabilitation services for crash survivors!

Please take a few minutes to listen to this Michigan Radio story about Annabelle Marsh, a five year old catastrophic car crash survivor. Annabelle is just one of an estimated 1,000 Michiganders that are seriously injured in a car crash every year. Survivors like Annabelle and her Mother have been struggling to find care since Michigan’s no-fault insurance reform unfairly cut their benefits almost in half! Please look up who your Michigan State Senator and State Representative are and email or call them and tell them that it is up to them to fix this!!

Brandi Marsh is frequently the sole caregiver for her five year old quadriplegic daughter, due to the 2019 auto no fault law. "Her life is in my hands," she says, fearing her exhaustion will cause her to make a life-threatening mistake.
