We were very saddened to hear about the passing of JoAnn Kossuth last week.

JoAnn was part of our practice for over 20 years and truly part of the foundation of what Orthopedic Specialists of Oakland County became. She was already a familiar face in the office when Dr. Kassab took over in 1997, after working for years with Dr. Robert Nestor.

So many of our patients remember JoAnn. She had a way of connecting with people that made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. She brought energy, personality, and a sense of family to the office every day.

One of the most remarkable things about JoAnn was how long she stayed with us, “retiring” at 86. That says everything about her dedication and love for what she did.

She lived a full life surrounded by her family and leaves behind a lasting impact on all of us who had the privilege of working with her.

She will be greatly missed.
