Behind every moment of support at Common Ground is someone who chose to help.

Our volunteers are an essential part of providing connection, compassion, and hope to people in crisis. We’re thankful for each person who gives their time, and we welcome others who want to stand with us and be part of something meaningful.

Hello spring! Here’s to brighter mornings, longer evenings and the fresh start we’ve all been craving. More sunshine means more time outside, more movement, more deep breaths and a real boost for our mental health.

Sunlight lifts our mood, being in nature calms our minds, and those extra daylight hours give us space to reset and recharge. Step outside, feel the warmth, and let this new season bring lighter days in every sense. 🌿💛

Did you know? 💭

Sleep and mental health are deeply connected, and the relationship goes both ways. Poor sleep can increase anxiety, depression, and stress, while mental health challenges can make it harder to fall or stay asleep.

Most adults need 7–9 hours of sleep each night to feel their best. Consistently getting less than that can affect mood, focus, energy, and overall well-being. Healthy sleep habits can strengthen both your mind and body. 🌙
