I interviewed Sheryl Green, a boundary Expert, about her experience in the Yoga Nidra Transformation Program. After years of chronic sleep issues and anxiety, she joined the program seeking real relief.

Today, she no longer takes daily melatonin and practices Yoga Nidra four days a week—continuing to experience lasting benefits.

Sometimes the most powerful medicine is stillness. Not the kind that forces calm— but the kind that allows the body to remember its own rhythm. Your body has an intelligence.

Yoga Nidra allows the intelligence to turn on. Each pause becomes a quiet dialogue between awareness and physiology.

Adaptability is the ability to move between doing and being without losing your center. Habits like nourishing meals, time in nature, and true rest build this capacity.

Yoga Nidra supports it from the inside out — helping the body practice rest while awareness remains awake.

Natalie shares how Yoga Nidra has been a powerful resource in her life — not only as a practice, but as a space of gentle guidance and connection.

She's experienced a sense of community where people can support and uplift one another on their individual journeys toward health and wellness.

I’m deeply grateful for this shared space and for those who are part of it. If you would like to learn more about Yoga Nidra and my self-paced programs, visit jiyahealth.com

Neema shared this reflection after the last free Yoga Nidra weekend event. Yoga Nidra offered her a space to slow down, to feel, and to reconnect with herself through presence rather than effort. This is medicine.

As a physician, I’ve seen people pursue endless supplement protocols, interventions, and restrictive diets—often leaving them more depleted rather than restored. In Yoga Nidra, when we quiet the mind, the energy once spent chasing external solutions becomes available for the body’s innate repair.

If you’re curious to experience this for yourself, I invite you to join me this Saturday and Sunday for the next event: Free Weekend Rejuvenation —1 hour of Yoga Nidra on January 17th and January 18th.

Your nervous system isn’t meant to stay calm all the time. It’s meant to move — between alertness, rest, and repair. An adaptable system knows how to return. That flexibility is the foundation of resilience.

Yoga Nidra gently retrains this rhythm — inviting your body to return to homeostasis. If you would like to learn more about my self-paced Yoga Nidra program offerings, visit jiyahealth.com.

Your nervous system is meant to move. Between activation and rest. Between doing and pausing. Health isn’t about staying calm all the time. It’s about capacity — the ability to rise, settle, and recover with ease.

What I repeatedly see in clinic is that when symptoms persist despite best efforts, the root issue is often a nervous system that has lost its capacity to adapt. When adaptability is present, the system can meet stress without becoming stuck. This is resilience. And resilience IS the foundation of health. Yoga Nidra beautifully supports your nervous system in the process.
