There are moments when we are praying for God to move, while holding on to the very thing He’s asking us to release.
Scripture reminds us:
“You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives…” (James 4:3)
And also:
“If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.” (Psalm 66:18)
God is not withholding to harm you—He is protecting you, refining you, and calling you deeper.
Sometimes the breakthrough isn’t in asking for more…
…it’s in surrendering what He already told you to let go of.
Release it. Trust Him. Obey Him.
There is freedom—and answers—on the other side of obedience.

So you didn’t process it… you suppressed it.

And now it shows.

You suppress sadness and it comes out as anger.
You suppress hurt and now you’re easily triggered.
You avoid your emotions, so you shut down, go numb, or stay irritated all the time.

Because no one ever taught you how to sit with what you feel.

But suppression isn’t healing… it just changes how it shows up.

If you’ve been reacting, shutting down, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions you don’t fully understand—it’s time to do the work.

You don’t have to keep carrying it like this.
