December may have been a bit hectic, but it was never too hectic to recognize our resident of the month. Just a little late on our post! 💙

Please help us congratulate Mr. Gary, our December Resident of the Month! Gary feels like the heartbeat of our home. He has such a familiar and comforting presence to both staff and residents. On any given day, you can find him singing a tune, sharing a positive word, or offering just a little friendly teasing to make sure everyone’s spirits are lifted.

We are so thankful for his joy, his kindness, and the light he brings to our days. Congratulations, Mr. Gary. We are blessed to have you! 👏💫

Help us give a HUGE congratulations to Shusecka, our 2025 Employee of the Year! 🎉
This recognition is so incredibly well-deserved. Over the past year, Shusecka transitioned from Day Shift Charge Nurse to ADON, and her leadership, support, and experience have added tremendous value to our team.

She is loved by staff, residents, and families alike -and for good reason! We hope you feel the love today and every day, Shus. Congratulations! 💐👏

🎉🎶 We decided to ring in the New Year with a little party, good music, and karaoke!

As we step into 2026, our hearts are full of gratitude, thankfulness, and hope for continued blessings in the year ahead. We have said it before, and we’ll continue to say it—how incredibly blessed we are by our residents and their families, our amazing staff, and our supportive community.

The joy on our residents’ faces, the laughter, the happy tears, and the overwhelming sense of love reminded us why we do what we do.

We are beyond grateful for everyone who helped make this day so special — our staff, families, and most of all, our residents.

Jingle & Mingle with us! ✨🎄

On Tuesday, December 23rd, Santa will be stopping by Prairie View for our Resident Christmas Party.
Expect treats, gifts, laughter, and lots of Christmas cheer 🎅🎁

This afternoon, a few of our ladies spent time in the dining room making delicious Christmas candy. They were so excited to share their sweet treats. Moments like these bring back so many cherished memories of past holiday seasons spent making candy and treats for our families. This one was good for the soul….and the tastebuds! 🎄🍬

The Christmas cheer is alive and well around here! 🎄
A big thank you to Bloomfield Middle School for coming to visit today and making gingerbread houses with our residents! 🎅🏼 The students also created personalized door signs, and they were a hit!

We absolutely love how our community rallies around us, and there is nothing sweeter than seeing kids come in to visit and share their joy. They truly bring warmth, laughter, and fun into our little home.

Big shout-out to Richland Beta for spending the morning with us for some cookie-decorating fun! 🍪
Our residents loved sitting back and watching these sweet treats come together and after decorating, we jumped right into games. Let’s just say the youngins quickly learned… we’ve still got it! 😄

To top it all off, they gifted our residents the cutest scarves and warmers. It was the perfect way to start the day. Thank you so much for coming! We loved every minute!

Holiday season officially activated! 🎄✨
Eggnog, hot cocoa, gingerbread cookies, and a Christmas documentary made for the perfect cozy kickoff to December.

Fun fact (because our residents LOVE trivia): The tradition of decorating Christmas trees became popular in America after 1848 when a picture of Queen Victoria’s decorated tree was published and went viral for the time!
