🎨🍑🛠️ We kicked off our activities this week with sand art – and our housekeeping gals may be sweeping up sand for a minute🫣but the colorful creations were worth it! 🌈✨

Big thank you to Ms. Mina from Southern Care & Comfort. Arts & crafts have definitely been a hit around here!

Nothing says summer like fresh peaches – our ladies couldn’t wait to whip up some peaches & cream. It disappeared faster than we could get a photo… priorities, right? 🍑🍨

And finally, our “Junk Drawer” game! Residents had to dig through a drawer of random goodies to find items that matched funny clues like:
👉 “I need something to hang a picture!”
👉 “I need something to make my remote work!”
👉 “I brought this back from vacation!”

We laughed, we searched, we argued a little over what really counts as a vacation souvenir 🤔😂 but most importantly, we kept our minds sharp and had a blast doing it!

It’s never boring around here & we’re proving that creativity, laughter, and a little peach cobbler energy go a long way. 💛

🎶 Elvis Week had us all shook up! 🕺🍌🥜

From peanut butter & banana milkshakes (thank you, Elara! 🙌) to making our own PB & banana sandwiches fit for The King himself, it was nothing short of delicious. We danced and sang along to plenty of Elvis tunes and cooled off with Blue Hawaii on a hot summer day. 🌺☀️

And of course, we couldn’t help falling in love with today’s finale—Elvis Bingo! 🎱🎤

Around here, a little less conversation and a little more action makes for a rockin’ good time! 🎸✨

Today is National Purple Heart Day. We pause to honor the brave men and women who were wounded or gave their lives in service to our country. The Purple Heart medal is a symbol of sacrifice, courage, and the highest level of devotion to protecting our freedoms.

We are humbled to care for and support veterans every day—especially today, while reflecting on the cost of freedom.

We’re proud to say that freedom lives here—in the hearts and halls of our facility.

☀️ SWIMSUIT SEASON🩱

Everyone was a little intrigued when they saw we had a swimsuit contest on the calendar this month! 🏖️ With these hot summer days, we figured it was the perfect time to show off our suits in the building—and did our residents deliver! 💃😎

From vintage vibes to bold beachwear, we had a blast celebrating summer in style. Check out these sweet cheeks and sunny smiles! 🌞💛

Joyful July 🎉

First up, a HUGE congratulations to one of our very own CNAs, Shawn Lumpkins, who is getting ready to welcome a precious baby girl! 🍼💗 Our team threw him a little baby sprinkle to celebrate — we’re so excited for you, Shawn!

Next, a big shoutout to David from Legacy Hospice for always bringing the fun when he visits! 🎲🙌

Our residents also continued their “Tour Around the World” with a visit to Asia this month! 🇨🇳🇯🇵 They tried little boba drinks (a fan favorite!) while some of the snacks were… well, let’s just say they sparked interesting reviews. 😅

And last but certainly not least, join us in celebrating our July Resident of the Month — Mr. Roy! 🎉
Roy is as sweet as they come — patient, kind-hearted, and a true gem. He also never turns down a good ol’ Big Mac 🍔❤️
