On Wednesday, March 24th, residents at Bloomfield Care Center participated in a "Mocktails & Memories" activity. They described the non-alcoholic beverage as "crisp, sparkling, and refreshing" as they reminisced and shared memories of the past. Later, in the afternoon, we were treated to a piano recital by the students of Ms. Melanie Schock. Weston, Garret and Kyra performed a dozen perfectly executed numbers to a large audience of very pleased spectators.

St. Patrick's Day was observed at Bloomfield Care Center with musical entertainment courtesy of a true Leprechaun! That's no Blarney! Doug Mottet crooned some classis country hits while residents and tenants sipped decadent "shamrock shakes" on March 17th. "Cheers" to Doug for a grand "craic" of a time ☘️☘️

For this month's "Cooking With Janelle" activity, Administrator, Janelle, demonstrated how to fry up some "Pizza Bombs." This consists of biscuit dough filled with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and is fried until golden brown and then served with marinara dipping sauce. Residents at Bloomfield Care Center enjoyed the savory dish as an afternoon snack. They were the "Bomb-Diggity!"

What could be more comforting than an afternoon pie social? Residents at Bloomfield Care Center were treated to a delicious variety of pies created by staff members, Linda G. and Terri H. as well as family member, Becky H. The pie was served with ice cream and beverages also. Thanks, gals for sharing your talent! The residents expressed their approval for this activity. 👍❤️🥧😃

February has been festive and fun at Bloomfield Care Center! We started it off with a "Glamour Shot" photo session with the help of volunteers, then decorated sugar cookies for a Valentine's Day party complete with strawberry ice cream. We had live entertainment by Tamara B. and a hot cocoa bar, too! A spontaneous visit from a Rainbow Unicorn surprised residents and staff also. We wonder what else is in store? Stay tuned.

Hi, my name is "Appa," Did you know that there's a National Golden Retriever Day? You’ve probably seen me around Mulberry Place Assisted Living. The month of February is a great excuse to give extra love and affection to the tenants; but then EVERY month feels like Valentine’s when love is this golden! Happy Valentine's Day to all!

Tenants and staff at Mulberry Place were privileged to attend an informative presentation from a representative from "Senior Life Solutions" on Tuesday, January 27th. Attendees learned important information about emotional and behavioral health. Senior Life Solutions is an outpatient program provided by the Davis County Hospital which meets the needs of persons over the age of 65 who struggle with anxiety or depression.

On Monday, the 19th of January, Residents at Bloomfield Care Center participated in a "Paint & Sip" led by guest Artist, Jackie Perry. Jackie is a retired artist and pastor who enjoys painting, printmaking and bringing people together through community-engaged art. Thank you, Jackie! We had so much fun with you!

On Tuesday, January 20th, Residents were treated to a concert by area musician, Doug Mottet. Doug is a veteran in the music industry with an extensive repertoire. Residents delighted as he crooned many classic tunes from Country & Western, to Rock & Roll. As you might imagine, there was much singing-along, as the music sparked happy memories. Thank you, Doug!
