✨ Employee Spotlight: Zach Mulford, PharmD ✨

If you’ve spent time at our Keosauqua location, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Zach Mulford, PharmD—and if you have, you know he’s someone who genuinely enjoys what he does.

Zach has been part of the Wells Hometown Drug team for four years, and one of the things he loves most about his role is the variety. From caring for patients in the store to working alongside the hospital team, Zach enjoys being able to wear multiple hats and stay sharp on all things pharmacy. For him, no two days look the same—and that’s exactly how he likes it. The relationships he builds with patients and the chance to interact with familiar faces every day are what truly make the job meaningful.

When he’s not behind the counter, you’ll likely find Zach cheering on his favorite football team—fall is his favorite Iowa season for this reason...football. Outside of work, he stays active by lifting weights and playing basketball, and he enjoys spending time watching sports with friends and family.

At home, Zach shares life with his wife Kailey and their three energetic labs—Remi, Rosco, and Raider—who keep things busy and fun.

We’re grateful to have Zach on our team and appreciate the care, dedication, and positive energy he brings to our patients and community every day.

• December 25 (Christmas Day): Closed
• December 26: Open 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Celebrating our 7 year anniversary today makes me feel an immense amount of gratitude to our patients for their continued support. We know you have choices and we take pride in being your pharmacy. I'm never satisfied as the owner with where we are and I'm always looking for ways to improve and grow to make your experience here consistently the best it can be. It really means the world to me the trust you put in our staff, the people that are the backbone of our success, and myself to take care of your pharmacy needs.

I also need to say thank you to my family and friends for always believing in and supporting my business. Words aren't enough to express my feelings today but one last time, thank you all.
