If your goal, whether it’s dropping 10 pounds, getting stronger, or feeling better in your body, feels out of reach right now.

There’s a good chance you’re just trying to do too much at once.

Here’s a better question to ask yourself instead:

👉 “What would this look like if it were simple?”

Because when things feel simple, they feel doable.

And when they feel doable, you’re more likely to stick with it.

Start with small things like:

✅ Having a post-workout protein shake ready before you train
✅ Taking a 10-minute walk after dinner instead of crashing on the couch
✅ Drinking a glass of water before reaching for that second iced coffee

These choices might seem small, but they add up fast.

And every time you make one, you’re either moving closer to your goals or further away.

Most of the time, “what works” isn’t flashy.

Especially if you’re someone juggling work, family, meals, and trying to squeeze in a workout.

It’s not about the perfect routine or some color-coded plan…

It’s the small, repeatable stuff that doesn’t require a ton of thinking:

→ Rotating the same 2–3 breakfasts you actually like
→ Getting in a short walk after dinner instead of crashing on the couch
→ Drinking a glass of water before your coffee or opening your laptop

Nothing fancy.

Just habits that are easy to keep doing even when life gets hectic.

That’s what actually moves the needle.

Not the stuff that looks good on paper—but the stuff that fits your life.

To all our fellow 40 and over adults, here’s a reminder:

“Simple can be harder than complex. You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.” — Steve Jobs.

Simplicity is underrated. We’re bombarded with advice that makes everything seem WAY more complicated than it has to be.

Take your nutrition… here’s one way to make it SIMPLE:

The Plate Method 🍽️ If you’re not into counting macros, this will help keep your meals balanced without having to count every calorie:

🥦 Fill half your plate with non-starchy veggies (like leafy greens, bell peppers, or roasted broccoli).

🍗 Fill a quarter of your plate with a quality protein source (like chicken, tofu, or fish).

🍠 The last quarter is for healthy carbs (like quinoa, sweet potato, etc.).

🥑 Add healthy fats in moderation, like olive oil, nuts, or avocado.

How easy is that?

👉 We use this with clients who are too busy to meal prep, and it’s a game changer.

The key is to find something simple that works for YOU.
