May is Maternal Mental Health Month.
Let’s talk about something real for a second… motherhood isn’t always glowing skin, cute outfits, and picture-perfect moments. For many parents, it can also come with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and feeling like you’re carrying way too much alone.
And here’s the truth: You’re not alone, and you don’t have to suffer in silence.
About 1 in 7 women experience perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, whether that’s during pregnancy or after baby arrives. The good news? These conditions are treatable, and support is out there.
This month is about:
Raising awareness
Breaking the stigma
Making sure parents get the care they deserve
With initiatives like World Maternal Mental Health Day (first Wednesday in May) and Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re coming together to remind every parent: your mental health matters too.
If you or someone you love needs support, you can always reach out to us.
Let’s continue to show up for ourselves and each other, especially in communities where support hasn’t always been accessible or equitable.
