BAYADA client Aspen finally made her way home after 322 days in the NICU. She is now reunited with her big sister and twin, who are both equally excited to have her home. Through every challenge, Aspen showed incredible strength and is ready to begin her next chapter outside the walls of the hospital.

We are grateful for all the BAYADA nurses—including Ashlee, Alyssa, Schonda, Katelyn, Stacey, and Nicole—who worked together to prepare Aspen and her family for this transition and to ensure she has the care she needs. We look forward to Aspen’s journey and to all the milestones and memories she will make at home, where she belongs. ❤️

From the first time I went to the BAYADA Regatta, I’ve been hooked ever since. This is hands-down my favorite regatta, and I’m blessed to be able to do it.” – Joel, BAYADA Regatta Rower

After sustaining multiple traumatic injuries in a car accident and spending years on the couch, Joel discovered Brooks Adaptive Sports. He took a Learn to Row class at an able-bodied club and continues to train with Brooks Adaptive today. Joel’s story reminds us that with determination, you can thrive.

“Competing here is so much fun—you don’t feel like a second-class citizen. This regatta is for you.” – Nancy

At 72, Nancy has been legally blind since birth, but that’s never stopped her. Through Western Pennsylvania BOLD and Three Rivers Rowing Association, she found her passion for rowing.

Since 2012, she’s competed at the BAYADA Regatta, earning medals, friendships, and admiration from her team.

Nursing is so hard right now—it’s difficult to find coverage anywhere—and what they were going through was more than any parent should ever have to endure. So, I wanted to be there for them.” – Kim, BAYADA Nurse

Kim answered the call to support her client when she was needed most. When her client passed, she went the extra mile to raise money for the family. Her compassion and dedication to her clients and their families are why she was honored with a Hero Award. ❤️

For 19 years, Bonnie Caterson has been a dedicated part of the BAYADA family—bringing compassion, creativity, and care to her clients.

Her nursing journey began with a childhood emergency and the unforgettable care she received from nurses. That moment sparked a lifelong calling, leading her from paramedic to ER nurse to her true home in home health care.

Bonnie says, “I love being part of people’s lives. I love problem-solving. I like seeing someone through a crisis and watching them walk away stronger.”

She also credits her BAYADA team for making it all possible: “I’m allowed to be who I am here. I can go the extra mile—whether it’s grabbing shoes or taping down a rug so someone doesn’t fall. That trust means everything.”

This , we’re proud to celebrate Adrienne Edwards from our Bloomfield, NJ office, who has been making a difference at BAYADA for an incredible 30 years!

Adrienne’s passion for nursing started as a child, driven by a curiosity about how the human body works. That curiosity blossomed into a lifelong calling — helping people heal and find comfort in the place they love most: their home.

When asked what she loves most about being part of BAYADA, Adrienne shared: "BAYADA truly listens and cares. They mentor you, train you, and don't treat you like a number — and I think that's beautiful."
