Being “the strong one” can become such a core part of your identity that you stop noticing how exhausted you are.

Because somewhere along the way,
your worth got tied to:
being helpful
being dependable
being the one who figures it out

And eventually,
rest starts to feel unfamiliar.
Receiving support feels uncomfortable.
Needing help feels unsafe.

Not because you’re incapable.
But because you’ve spent so long surviving through self-reliance.

There’s nothing wrong with being capable.

But you deserve a life where support doesn’t only flow one direction.

Most people don’t realize this:

Resentment isn’t the problem.

It’s the signal.

The signal that you’ve been:
overextending,
overgiving,
or overriding yourself
for too long

And ignoring it doesn’t make it go away.
It just builds.

Boundaries aren’t about becoming someone new.
They’re about finally responding to what’s already there.

If that’s something you’ve been noticing lately,
our next workshop was built for you.

The hardest part about boundaries usually isn’t knowing what to say.

It’s tolerating the discomfort
that comes after you say it.

The guilt.
The fear of disappointing someone.
The instinct to over-explain.
The urge to soften it so nobody else feels uncomfortable.

A lot of women were taught that being “good”
meant being endlessly available.

So now, even when your body is saying no, your conditioning says:
keep going.

But constantly abandoning yourself to maintain connection with others will eventually disconnect you from yourself.

And that disconnect adds up.

You deserve relationships where your needs aren’t treated like an inconvenience.

You weren’t meant to only rest
when you’ve reached your limit.

When “rest” only happens after burnout,
it stops feeling like care
and starts feeling like recovery.

This week was about awareness
noticing the patterns you’ve been stuck in.

No judgment. Just truth.
What would it look like
to let rest meet you sooner?

05/06/2026

This month, we’re moving through a simple mental health challenge
one week at a time.

Not to overwhelm you.
But to help you come back to yourself.

This week is about awareness.

Because rest shouldn’t only happen
when your body gives out.

It starts with noticing the patterns
you’ve been pushing past.

What would it look like to slow down
before you hit your limit?

Save this to check in later.

You’ve been the one who shows up.

Says yes.
Figures it out.
Keeps things running, for everyone.

And lately?

It’s starting to feel like too much.

The resentment.
The exhaustion.
The quiet feeling that something needs to change…
but you’re not sure how.

That’s where this begins.

Boundaries 101 is designed for women who:

•know they need boundaries
•but feel stuck actually setting them

Inside, we’ll walk through:
• what boundaries really are (and what they’re not)
• how resentment signals a boundary gap
• identifying your non-negotiables
• regulating your nervous system before hard conversations
• clear, grounded ways to communicate without guilt

This isn’t about becoming rigid.
Or pushing people away.

It’s about learning how to stay connected to yourself.

📅 Starts: Thursday May 21st
🕖 Time: 12pm & 6pm

If this is something you’ve been needing
you don’t have to figure it out alone.

This May, we’re slowing things down.
One small check-in at a time.

Our Mental Health Awareness Month challenge
isn’t about doing more

it’s about noticing what’s already there.

Week 1: Awareness

No fixing. No forcing.
Just honesty.

What’s been feeling heavier than you admit?

Save this to come back to.

You know what to say.

You’ve read the posts.
Had the conversations.
Maybe even tried setting boundaries before.

But when it actually comes time to hold them?

You feel the guilt.
The second-guessing.
The pull to explain, soften, or take it back.

You’re not alone in that.

Boundaries with Love is an in-person one-day workshop for women who:
• understand boundaries intellectually
• but struggle to hold them in real life

Inside, we’ll focus on:
• setting limits without becoming harsh
• staying grounded when others push back
• letting go of over-explaining
• repairing relationships without self-abandonment

Because boundaries aren’t about pushing people away.
They’re about staying connected to yourself
even in the hard moments.

📅 Sat June 6th
📍 In-person at Catalyst Counseling
🕖 Starts at 11am

If you’re ready to stop abandoning yourself
in the name of keeping the peace
