Kinga grew up in the hilly forested regions of northwest Romania. As a child she spent her weekends in nature participating in orienteering or picking mushrooms, wildflowers and medicinal plants with her parents. Herbal teas were a daily delight at home and in times of illness healing remedies also. She moved to the United States in her early 20's and in 2006 she enrolled at Midwest College of Ori

ental medicine. At the time she was going through health struggles that Western medicine could not identify. She found the answer and cure during her years studying Chinese medicine. Kinga graduated Magna Cum Laude from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago in 2010. She is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified through the NCCAOM. She began her career working at a top Chinese medicine clinic in Chesterton, Indiana. At East Wind Acupuncture she would see 90-110 patient cases in a week. Later she was the co- founder of People's Community Acupuncture in Chicago, a community clinic that served the Lincoln Park area. Before her son was born, her family moved to the northwest suburbs of Chicago. During her career she had the privilege of studying from great Chinese medicine masters like Dr. Richard Teh- Fu Tan OMD, LAc know as Dr Tan, Dr. Jimmy Wei-Yen Chan LAc in California, Dr. Randine Lewis LAc and gynecologist , Michelle Meramour LAc. -the developer of body feedback treatment style. Kinga combines these credentials and Chinese medicine treatment styles with intuition in her individualized treatments. She has experience treating a wide spectrum of bodily imbalances. Her passion lies in treating male and female fertility cases with a great success rate. She has worked with children, adolescence, adults and the elderly.

Ready to take the plunge into acupuncture for fertility? 🌊 Let’s break it down!

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on your body, promoting the flow of ‘Qi’ to key areas, including those tied to reproductive health. By improving blood circulation, it enhances the physiological function of the ovaries and uterus, acupuncture helps create an optimal environment for conception.

But that’s not all! This practice also helps regulate hormones, which is crucial for ovulation and overall reproductive function. Whether you're dealing with irregular cycles or struggling with PCOS, acupuncture can help restore balance and harmony to your body, naturally enhancing your chances of conceiving.

As the seasons change and work-home dynamics shift, many individuals experience fluctuations in mood and stress levels. Acupuncture may offer relief by stimulating the release of "happy" hormones such as endorphins and serotonin, which can elevate mood and promote relaxation. Additionally, it may help regulate the central nervous system, influencing automatic bodily functions like heart rate and promoting a sense of calm. While acupuncture should not replace conventional treatments like medications or talk therapy, it can be an effective complementary approach to mental health care.

Do your kids complain about sore muscles or tightness in their body ?
Cupping might be an easy and quick fix for them.
Cupping therapy, an ancient practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, has gained popularity among athletes and active individuals for its potential benefits in alleviating muscle soreness and tension.
Many young athletes, such as tennis players, cheerleaders, baseball players, and swimmers, have reported positive outcomes from incorporating cupping into their recovery routines.
The warm sensation and gentle pressure can be particularly soothing, helping to ease discomfort and improve overall well-being.

Our bodies just like the environment does feel the change, the dryness, wind ,cold .
The light nature of the wind may cause convulsions, muscle spasms, dizziness , chills when our body's defensive mechanism can no longer protect us from the environmental factors.
We have a solution with Chinese medicine to keep the immune system strong and working properly.

Many women experience PMS symptoms when it is that time of the month.
Why is it happening?
PMS symptoms are our body's signal that blood flow in the Liver meridian is uneven and therefore blood stagnation can form in the lower abdomen which may contribute to more symptoms like pain, abdominal cramping.
Why can PMS or premenstrual syndrome be treated with acupuncture ?
Acupuncture can open up and even the blood flow in the liver meridian therefore aiding to the body's physiological function.
Now you may think this is a hoax . No this is Chinese medicine explained.
The liver organ has many functions, but one of its main function is to govern blood and to start the menstrual blood flow. When the meridian that corresponds to the liver organ is out of balance, the flow of blood becomes slow, stagnant and then pain shows up in many ways.
Menstruation shouldn't be painful. We have the experience to help women have a happy monthly period. Call today to reserve your appointment time.

Latest Google review on Migraines.

Do you have migraines? Try acupuncture! I have diagnosed migraines for the past 10+ yrs, take daily meds for them & have also tried so many other things. One weekend I was in a cycle of headaches - rescue medications, hangovers, another headache... - and I saw an ad for Bright Shen (I follow the strip mall on Facebook) and thought "Why not?!" So I went. AND I'M SO GLAD I DID. Even after my first treatment I felt relief from the cluster weekend. Kinga listened to my symptoms and concerns and worked with me to care for my needs. For a month, I didn't see a migraine and upon the onset of the first sign of a headache, she saw me right away and provided relief - I never went home and reached for rescue medication! With the help and care of acupuncture, the added benefits of cupping, and Kinga specifically, it has been almost 2 months since I've had a migraine attack. (I do still take my daily prescribed maintenance meds. Kinga doesn't go against what your doctor advises.) THANK YOU Bright Shen!!!
