Meet Dr. Ahanth Vedantham also known to all his patients as “Dr. V”! Dr. V has been with Foot and Ankle Center for the last year and a half. Prior to joining the group, he earned his medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science before completing his surgical residency at Ascension St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Vedantham’s philosophy emphasizes on conservative management and having an approach to surgical management that uses evidence based research.

Being the father of a young child with another one on the way, Dr. V has little free time to spend outside of work. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching Chicago sports teams, traveling, and being outdoors.

Dr. V works at both the Bloomingdale and the Westerchester locations. Come stop in and say hi to Dr. V!

Meet the boss! Dr. George Carioscia started Foot and Ankle Center in 1993 upon completing his surgical residency training at Loretto Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to residency, Dr. Carioscia earned a 4-year Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree with Cum Laude Honors from Dr. William. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL.

Foot and Ankle Center will be closed Friday (08/29) at 12 noon in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd. Foot and Ankle Center will be closed Friday (05/23) at 12 noon in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 27th.

Did you know that it was originally called Decoration Day, from the early tradition of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths and flags, Memorial Day is a day for remembrance of those who have died in service to our country.
