Oasis Senior Advisors and Penny had quite a week!

Penny couldn’t resist stopping by Victory Centre of Bartlett to do a little schmoozing with her friends Kim and Heather—complete with some truly delightful culinary treats!

Then it was off to volunteer with the Central Kane County Triad at the Spring Senior Safety Academy, where Penny picked up lots of valuable information on aging wisely and the importance of having essential documents in place.

The week was capped off with a fun and educational bingo event, where Penny was delighted to reconnect with so many caring friends in Social Services who work hard every day to support others. She even had the chance to share a bit about how Oasis Senior Advisors can help—guiding individuals and families to find great places to live when the home they love starts to feel overwhelming.

🌴 Penny’s Adventures 🌴

Penny attended her very first national convention this week in Houston—and what an experience it was! She met so many new friends and learned so much about where Oasis Senior Advisors is today and where we’re headed in the future. There are so many exciting things happening within this organization, and Penny can’t wait to share it all with her local partners!

She also loved connecting with the amazing corporate team—Crystal (Marketing Director), CC (VP of Operations), and Jenna (Director of Business Coaching). And of course, spending time with the Illinois team made it even more special… we truly have an awesome group!

Penny had a blast at the awards dinner and casino night—she loved seeing everyone all dressed up! ✨

She’s already looking forward to next year! 🎉

🍀 Penny’s week was packed with fun & food!

First stop: the St. Patty’s Celebration with Comfort Keepers, Bristol Hospice, & Sunrise Senior Living—she loved chatting with all the amazing ladies. 💚✨

Next: hosting lunch for the St. Charles Seniors, such a lively and fun group! 🥪🎉

But don’t be fooled… Penny spent most of the time gazing out at the Fox River, dreaming of spring paddles and sunshine. 🌞🚣‍♀️💛

Penny’s Weekly Adventures 🌴

This week Penny did something new…she was on her very first podcast! 🎙️
She met with Jason Stallard from Love Local Chicagoland, located in Hoffman Estates. Penny was a little nervous at first, but Jason quickly made her feel comfortable and relaxed. Before long, she was having a great time talking with Jason about Oasis Senior Advisors and all the ways we help families navigate senior living options. Jason has been hosting his podcast for several years, and if you have a story to share, he’s definitely the person to call!

Next, Penny met with Steve Bergdahl from New Summit in Arlington Heights. They offer both short-term rehab and long-term skilled care. It’s a beautiful facility with two large, well-equipped therapy gyms. The private rooms are spacious but still warm and cozy. Penny also loved the two lovely bistro areas where patients and guests can enjoy a cup of coffee together. Penny is already looking forward to going back for another visit!🧑🏻‍🦽

After such a busy week, Penny decided it was time for a little relaxation. She visited Purpose Therapeutic Massage in Roselle and met Jennifer Blose, the owner and Licensed Massage Therapist, to work out all the kinks in her trunk! Jennifer has been in business for five years, and Penny left feeling so much better after her massage. She can’t wait to go back again soon!👐
