🌓🌞Namaste! Good Tuesday, Mars’ Day, morning!
We wake with Rohini Nakshatra and Moon expresses Shukla Saptami, his 7th waxing tithi. Yesterday, we received Moon’s light in Shashthi tithi, his 6th waxing tithi, from 8:08 am until 5:37 am…after sunrise yesterday until before sunrise today so we shift the calendar ahead one tithi.
Until 8:34 am CDT this morning, Moon continued his visit with his favorite wife, Rohini, and is deep in the center of Earthy Ta**us ruled by Venus. He radiates a somewhat soft comfort energy in this tithi...even in his place of exaltation!
While steeped in Santosha (contentment) for now, Moon looks ahead to later this morning feeling increasingly restless. And by 8:34 am CDT, Moon is ready to move on to Mrigashira.
In our dreams last night, Rohini energies urged us to try “this and that“ while spinning us in luxury as we dreamed of our talents and new endeavours. With Brahma, the creator, ruling Rohini Nakshatra, all our systems were adding to our lucid dreams: intellectual, emotional, physical, & material. We wake highly motivated to find Moksha (liberation). Our spiritual quest is idealistic, but also, in Earthy Ta**us, is grounded in devotion and sacrifice for others. Here we can lose ourselves, so care is required to choose the focus of our devotion wisely...we want to be seen and appreciated.
Venus encourages our creativity and it seems to shine!
By mid morning, as Moon arrives with Mrigashira, our intellect strengthens and we look for creative activities and entrepreneurial endeavors to bring us pleasure.
Even though still in Venus-ruled Ta**us, Moon begins releasing his attachment from sensuality and the intellect sharpens. The awareness if the concept of duality leads to some emotional response in his arrival for his bisit with Mrigashira and shift to Mars influences. Mrigashira’s futile search is in the world of Maya (illusions). Like a startled deer, Moon, wrapped in Maya, reacts and bolts thinking all sounds signal danger. He is overstimulated by the airy qualities blowing in creative and conflicting ideas and thoughts.
Moon may appear calm on the exterior and is churning inside. Appearances today may be deceiving. The creative energies are engaging and calling us but remain only ideas and are elusive. We may look to settling for a surface level approach to our activities waiting for inspiration to ground us. Our intellect is on fire and we see this big picture and watch ourselves go through the motions. We still get much done while contemplating a spiritual path. Take advantage of the energy to do more today when Moon moves into Gemini in the third pada at 7:47 pm this evening. His visit in Mrigashira today sends us energies and dreams of all options in duality. “This or that”...what happened to “both and?” Tomorrow morning Moon leaves this Nakshatra ruled by him (Moon) known as Soma and blows into Ardra...
