The Mechanism of Qi Gathering
" Those who are discouraged and hide themselves are definitely treacherous and greedy; those who are open-minded and courageous are definitely heroes "
The mechanism of Qi-gathering is to use the practitioner's thoughts to automatically open the body's acupuncture points, allowing the body's closed field to open outward. This strengthens the body's ability to absorb various external energy flows and information, allowing internal energy and information to be exchanged, purifying the internal energy flow and obtaining high-energy energy, thus stimulating the body's potential and generating various special abilities.
1. Qi-gathering Preparatory Form - Body Cleansing Exercise
(1) You can stand, sit on a chair, or lie flat on the bed. Generally, you should stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, feet slightly outward, knees slightly bent, arms hanging naturally at your sides, body upright, with Baihui and Huiyin points in a straight line, lower jaw slightly retracted, tongue against the upper palate, lips lightly closed, eyes looking forward, eyes slightly closed, smile, breathe naturally, and eliminate distracting thoughts.
(2) Imagine yourself on a beautiful mountain. Imagine your entire body expanding to infinity. Imagine your body stretching infinitely toward the stars in the universe. Your head stretches toward the Milky Way above the universe. Your feet stretch into the center of the earth and through the earth. A misty white air current floats around your feet. It feels as if you are the only one in the world, with nothing around you except the sun, moon, stars, and light. Your body fills the entire universe. Imagine your skin disappearing and your joints no longer existing. Then visualize your own energy rising from the top of your head and merging with the solar wisdom energy flow above the universe. Imagine the sun above your head, the moon in front of your chest, and the earth beneath your feet. The light emitted by each wisdom energy flow illuminates your body inside and out. At this time, your body is like a bright light body, radiating light throughout the entire universe. Maintain this state of mind when practicing in the future. Practicing in this state of mind will help you improve your gong very quickly.
(3) Then inhale and think about the skin all over your body. As you exhale, silently say the word "relax". Imagine that the tension on the surface of your skin gradually disappears with the word "relax". The breathing should be deep, long, even and smooth. After breathing and relaxing like this three times, relax the muscles, fascia, bones and joints, internal organs, and brain of your whole body. Relax each part three times, and finally relax the whole body from top to bottom three times. The specific operation is to silently say the word "relax" as you exhale, and imagine that you are relaxing from your head to your feet. This cycle is called relaxation exercise. If you feel that the relaxation is not ideal, you can do the relaxation exercise again.
(4) Turn your palms outward, and draw an arc with your palms from the sides, from bottom to top, along the horizon of the universe. As you inhale, slowly raise your palms upward, imagining that all the wisdom light energy in the universe is gathered in the starry sky above your head. As you exhale, turn your palms downward, imagining that the wisdom light energy flows down your palms, penetrating the "Baihui" acupoint on the top of your head. At this time, the fingertips of your hands are facing each other and descending along the front of your body. Imagine that the light energy flowing through the top of your head flows from your head, neck, chest, abdomen, down your thighs to your calves, the "Yongquan" acupoint on the soles of your feet, and the tips of your big toes, out to the center of the earth, through the earth and into the universe. At the same time, guide your hands to the lower Dantian position and then return them to the sides of your body. Do this method continuously for about 30 minutes.
Most Qi-gathering methods require placing the body in space, imagining the gathered Qi slowly enveloping the body. As for the color of the wisdom light, golden or golden-white are generally preferred at the beginning. Practice can last for more than 30 minutes, but can also last for ten minutes or even a few minutes. This practice can be performed at any time, such as while walking, sitting, or lying down. Breathing can be natural or reverse abdominal. With long-term practice, one's mind power increases, and one can focus the energy of the cosmic wisdom light, directing it through the Baihui acupoint on the top of the patient's head and directly to the affected area, or directly into the affected area. The patient's condition is imagined to dissipate, leading to improvement. This regulates the patient's biofield and promotes recovery. Similarly, this method can also be used for collective healing and guidance. There are many Qi-gathering methods, and practitioners should choose one or two based on their specific circumstances and cultivate them over a long period of time to achieve success.
