🦷Are you looking for a new work family in 2026? Bloomington Family Dental is hiring a full-time CHARISIDE DENTAL ASSISTANT! Experience is preferred; however, we will train the right person. 🙂

📍Job Duties:
*assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
*taking dental radiographs (x-rays)
*asking about the patient's medical history
*serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
*helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
*providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)
*taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth
*communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)
*Other office duties as assigned

📍Our office uses the following and experience preferred but will train the right person:
*Eaglesoft Dental Software
*Carestream Digital X-ray
*Sirona Orthopos SL Panoramic/Cone Beam
*CEREC
*Waterlase MD hard/soft tissue laser


📍Benefits:

This week, both Drs. John and Stacey attended the American Dental Association’s House of Delegates meeting in Washington, DC representing Illinois. The 5 day convention included district caucus meetings, reference committee meetings, officer elections and over 480 delegates (not including alternate delegates) creating policies to help the dental profession succeed and support the health of the public. Dr. John also serves on the ADA’s Council on Governmental Affairs. In addition, Dr. Stacey has been elected as an incoming Trustee for the 8th District in 2026. Let’s give a shout out to our doctors for their dedication to the profession and the patients they serve! 🦷
