Doula Etc's quarterly free community education class took place today, with six couples participating to learn about comfort measures for childbirth. We provided instruction on utilizing birth balls, partner support, doula hip squeezes, counter pressure, and other techniques. We appreciate the participation of our amazing couples and hope they feel more prepared and informed for their births.

Also thank to Datia Rosenberg, fellow doula and Dr Tara Folsom from Midwest Multicare for joining us today! And thanks to Inspired Maternity for hosting us!

For our annual Doulas Etc. Meeting, we snuck away for an overnight retreat this past weekend! At our meeting we reflected on 2023. Between our five doulas we attended 143 births and educated over 60 couples. We also took a serious look ahead to 2024 and we are so excited for our theme this year ahead, "Leading As We Serve". We can't wait to serve you well!
