Carle McLean County Orthopedics is a part of Carle Health and has been treating orthopedic conditions for over 40 years.

McLean County Orthopedics was founded in 1976 by Dr. Jerald Bratberg, a graduate of Harvard Medical School. Since that time, MCO has treated over 50,000 patients and attracted the finest physicians, therapists, nurses, technicians, and administr

ative staff totaling over 90 employees. MCO treats all types of orthopedic conditions and offers a comprehensive range of services. Most patients can call for an appointment themselves, although there are some insurance companies (ie Health Alliance, OSF) that require a referral from a primary care physician. MCO also started and spun-off The Center for Outpatient Medicine (TCOM), which is the only surgery center in McLean county certified for overnight stay. You can find McLean County Orthopedics on Route 9 (Empire Street), across from the old Bloomingon airport.
