When speaking on problem gambling, we often get asked a lot of questions - one of those being "How can somebody be addicted to an activity like gambling?" The fact is: gambling can become a problem for some people.

Here are some key signs to be aware of:

💠Constantly thinking about gambling, strategizing, or planning
💠Gradually increasing the amount of money being wagered to achieve the same level of excitement
💠Trying to win back money lost by gambling more
💠Borrowing money in order to gamble
💠Prioritizing gambling over responsibilities
💠Becoming irritable or restless when trying to cut back
💠Using gambling as a coping mechanism with stress or challenging emotions
