In Dec. 2022, I noticed a flutter in my chest ❤️. After many EKGs, stress tests, CT scans, and monitoring, my cardiologist found that I had AFIB and was in AFIB more than 40% of each day. I was on two medications 💊 and waited until June 2023 for Atrial Fibrillation Ablation surgery.

In August my cardiologist approved me to work out 💪. However, I still wasn’t ready and hit an emotional all-time low. I couldn’t believe I was 54, had heart issues, was overweight, and was facing Type-II diabetes. My dear friend Robin and I talked about joining OTF 🍑. Joining has been one of the best decisions I made for my health 🧡 and psychological well-being 🧠. I love to work out now! 

I remember my first 2000M row 🛶 benchmark with Danielle and asking, what if I’m last? She told me, it doesn’t matter where you finish…it’s that you’re here doing it. During that row, I was last, I had a few meters left and Danielle was by my side cheering me on 📣. This day, I knew that OTF wasn’t your typical gym. I’ve been a member for over a year. I’ve lost weight, gained muscle, ran a 5K, and achieved PRs 🔥. Recently, I saw my cardiologist and physician, and I’m thrilled to say that my blood work is perfect and my heart is healthy. My cardiologist is very happy with my new heart healthy lifestyle. OTF is filled with genuine staff who care about each member. I am beyond blessed by them.

Our latest 5-star review!

I fell on the ice last night and severely hurt my lower back. I googled for the best chiropractor in bloomington, and saw that elite had a perfect 5 star rating and thought I'd give them a try. I quickly found out why they have that perfect score. They were full when I called, but they made time for me, as I am traveling and don't know anyone here.
I wasn't rushed for a quick adjustment, he took his time, exrayed me and showed me some things that I wasn't even aware of on the xrays. I received a full adjustment, "not just the injured back" and when I stood up, I was about 90 percent bettet. I made a follow up appt for tomorrow morning and will certainly be there.
These people really care about their patients and deserve more than the top score of 5. I've been here once, and I trust them with my life.
