A couple of days ago, Facebook memories reminded me that A DECADE ago, one of my kids had started doing this throat clearing thing that was driving me nuts ... and over the subsequent ten years we tried medication after medication wondering if it was allergies, or "just" a tic, or what ... nothing seemed to help. It got to the point where he was visibly frustrated and tired by the action, but it kept happening. And yes for ten years it drove me nuts as well.

I am SO happy to report that he hasn't done this for a while now... since May, actually... ever since I treated him to the Salt Room experience at Aches Away Massage Specialists for his birthday.

How awesome is that?

Have you tried the salt room? Did you experience anything similar?

I personally didn't feel anything apart from just happy to get to recline for half an hour lol 😁 but I will unhesitatingly dive back in for another session with the kiddo if the throat clearing starts up again.

I strongly believe all that we need is within ourselves. Our challenge is to remove/dive past the layers of "not-me" and listen to our true inner Self.

It's been interesting observing this voice, especially as a massage therapist. I am grateful for my regulars, because I know I'm not ~that~ bad if they keep coming back, right? 🤣🤣 Seriously though. That voice can be loud. But it has no traction on days clients --whwther new or regular-- exclaim how amazing their session with me was..
