Jenni and I were honored to co-author this 28 page document along with Scott Tips, president of the NHF, to be presented at the CODEX meeting in Chili this week. If you don’t know about CODEX you should because they are the regulatory body for food and supplements regulations globally!

CODEX is made up of 200 delegates from around the world who are a part of the UN, the FAO (Farm and Agriculture Organization) and the WHO (World Health Organization). Also, the National Health Federation which is the only health freedom organization allowed in these meetings with the sole purpose of attendance to stand up for all of our rights.

Think of CODEX like the FDA but at a global level. The meeting this week was to determine “safe” maximum levels of pesticide residue in our food world wide. As well as several environmental inhibitors in our food and livestock feed.

Hopefully our words resonated and made a difference. I highly encourage you to look up CODEX. We did a podcast a couple weeks ago with Scott TIps and discussed NHF's involvement with CODEX.

In the meantime, eating the way we teach you and sourcing from our local regenerative farmers keeps you safe from the guild lines set at these meetings. Because NO level of pesticides in or on our food is safe.

I got a beautiful message from a past patient last week, that worked with us in our private practice (Duquette Functional Medicine and Preventative Health) almost three years ago and then we ended up doing a podcast on her case study this past week!
