Embodied Conflict: Building Resilience Through Somatic Practices

Join Cortenay Crosson, a trauma-focused somatic bodyworker, educator, and activist, for an experiential training designed to help you navigate conflict with greater resilience and ease. 🌱

Conflict doesn’t have to leave you feeling drained or disconnected. In this training, you’ll:
🌸 Tune into your body’s signals 🌸 Practice nervous system regulation🌸 Develop a sense of safety and stability in tough situations🌸 Learn to manage fight, flight, freeze, fawn, and appease responses🌸 Gain practical tools to set boundaries and navigate conflict confidently—whether at work, in relationships, or within your community.

Cortenay’s approach is compassionate, deeply informed, and rooted in creating healing spaces for historically underserved communities. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing is both personal and collective.

This training is FREE and open to EVERYONE, and we’re so excited to share these tools for building resilience and strength in challenging moments.

Creating Safety: How Connection Heals
This training explores alternative pathways to safety and healing for individuals affected by trauma, focusing on the critical role of connection in recovery. This session will provide an understanding of the physiological responses to trauma, such as hyperarousal, hypoarousal, and the window of tolerance, highlighting how these states impact emotional regulation and safety. Participants will learn the significance of building trustworthy relationships, fostering collaboration, and empowering individuals to regain control of their healing journey. Through this, the session emphasizes how connection and trust can promote healing and resilience in trauma survivors.
