DSI Together with LIFEDesigns LIFEDesigns is a non-profit founded by parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 1982.

We provide staff supports to people with disabilities. We promote independence for people with disabilities and community integration. Our services include a wide range of housing options, educational support from primary school through lifelong learning, technology assistance, healthcare coordination, behavioral support, and independently accredited employment programs. For families with caregiving responsibilities, we also offer respite programs to help you achieve balance.

As this year comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead in 2026 ✨

2025 was a meaningful year for Developmental Services, Inc. Bloomington. You may have seen us around the community at local events, volunteering, and connecting with neighbors throughout the year. Every moment reminded us how strong and supportive this community truly is.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our events, supported our work, and cheered us on. Most of all, thank you to our incredible staff who make it possible for the people we support to grow in independence, care, and confidence every day.

We are so grateful for this community and cannot wait to continue the journey together in 2026 💙

✨🎄 What a wonderful two days of Christmas celebrations at DSI🎄✨

Yesterday we celebrated our amazing staff with a Christmas party filled with food, gifts, and our door prize drawing. It was such a joy to take time together and show our appreciation for all the hard work our staff put in every single day. You are the reason our clients continue to learn, grow, and build independence. Thank you for everything you do.

Today we continued the holiday cheer with a Christmas party for our clients. They enjoyed gifts, good food, and fun photos with Santa and the Grinch, brought to life by our own staff. It was a heartwarming sight to see everyone smiling, laughing, and socializing on this cold and snowy day.

Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for bringing joy into our work, and thank you to our dedicated staff for making moments like this possible. Merry Christmas to all of you. ❤️💚
